2015 Coastal Uncorked Festival Rescheduled for Labor Day Weekend
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Fifth Annual Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival returns for a culinary adventure over Labor Day Weekend, September 4 through September 6, 2015. With the addition of the Carolina Country Music Fest during the first week of June, a decision was made to move Coastal Uncorked to Labor Day Weekend. This year all festival events will be located in Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach.
“This is the first year for the Carolina Country Music Fest, and all indications are it is going to be a phenomenal event for the Myrtle Beach area that deserves our support,” said Stephen Greene, president of the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association. “The ultimate goal is to see both events be successful, and in considering that, a decision was made to postpone the 2015 Coastal Uncorked festival to the lucrative Labor Day weekend. We are excited to see the Carolina Country Music Fest kick off the summer season, and look forward to a wonderful finish with Coastal Uncorked during Labor Day weekend.”
Kicking off Coastal Uncorked 2015 is Chocolate Under the Moon, a dessert and moonshine mixology event scheduled for Friday, September 4 in Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach. The event will feature a moonshine mixology challenge, decadent desserts and live music.
Back for a second year at Coastal Uncorked is the Brews ‘N the Beach Craft Beer Event. It is set for Saturday, September 5 in Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach. Patrons will be able to enjoy samples of the country’s finest craft brews, live music and food from area vendors.
On Sunday, September 6, the popular Grand Tasting Tent will be available at Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach. The event will feature samplings of wine from a variety of vendors and a selection of gourmet hors d’oeuvres and live music.
Tickets for the 2015 Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival will go on sale at the beginning of May and can be purchased by going to www.CoastalUncorked.com.
