The Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association is seeking nominations for our Annual Hospitality Industry Awards. These awards have been created to honor business efforts that reflect the mission of the MBAHA, which is to represent, educate, and promote the best in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry. This year, the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association will recognize outstanding achievements by hospitality leaders and businesses. Being the recipient of one of these awards guarantees valuable Grand Strand exposure for you and your company as a leader in the hospitality industry.

MBAHA recognizes the value our businesses provide to the growth of the hospitality industry and to the association. It is our time to recognize you for all of your hard work and dedication. Nominations for the following 2010 awards are being accepted through 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1st:
Hotelier of the Year - This award honors the hotel owner, manager, or company that shows exemplary customer service, employee relations, community service, and their dedication to advancing the lodging industry along the Grand Strand.
Restaurateur of the Year - This award honors the restaurant owner, manager, or company that shows exemplary customer service, employee relations, community service, and their dedication to advancing the foodservice industry along the Grand Strand.
Front Line Employee of the Year – This award honors front line employees that go above and beyond the normal job expectations both at and away from work, including outstanding and unusual service to their company, to their customers and to the Grand Strand.
Heart of the House Employee of the Year – This award honors heart of the house employees that go above and beyond the normal job expectations both at and away from work, including outstanding and unusual service to their company, to their customers and to the Grand Strand.
Hospitality Services Member of the Year – This award honors a MBAHA Hospitality Services member based on industry involvement beyond their normal exceptional service and quality and on their history of working to advance the hospitality industry along the Grand Strand.
